• Rwandan law prohibits bringing electronic smoking machines (VAPE) or remote-controlled photographic drones (DRONE).

• It is prohibited to photograph government buildings and sovereign headquarters, especially military buildings.

• The use of plastic bags is prohibited, as this may expose the user to a fine.

• It is prohibited to cut trees, pick flowers, or abuse monkeys if they are present in some places in the capital, or any practices that would disturb the surroundings. This exposes the visitor to a fine.

• It is prohibited to provide food to animals or throw them out of the car inside national reserves, and the laws imposed by the reserve must be respected to preserve the animals’ natural surroundings and their health.

• It is strictly prohibited to hunt any type of animal within the reserve, as Rwandan law is considered strict in these cases.
